Problem: when creating Jira tickets for content requests, co-workers are not able to provide the exact info that they need to provide because there is only 1 one-size-fits-all entry request template.
Solution to investigate: it would be extremely helpful for people placing job request, to select if they need an email, a news article, or another piece of content to be created and published on our websites.
Is it possible for us using Jira Cloud, to customize that, and allow people to use pre-defined templates for what they need done?
If so, how please and thank you.
Arnaud
Hi Arnaud,
I am little confused about your question. Do you just need to add a custom dropdown field where the user selects a value for Email, News Article, etc.? Or do you actually want them to see some kind of template?
I want them to see different fields based on the user selecting Email vs News article, etc. Is that possible?

Ah - sadly, not that is not possible with out of the box Jira Cloud.
We use Jira Service Desk with the ProForma Forms add-on which will allow you to do that. Otherwise, I don't think it is possible with Cloud.
