Right now when we are cloning certain issues, parent issue Label is getting cloned to other issue.

is there a possibility to disable this for certain projects? I mean when we do cloning it should not copy Labels from it.

Hi,

"Clone" really does mean clone, it takes a copy of the issue and all its current attributes.  There are no functions for arbitrarily dropping fields or data.

Hi @CHINNAMUTHEVISAI.SATYANARAYANASHARMA ,

As per my knowledge out of the box this feature is not available.

There is an open ticket with Atlassian regarding this.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-15297

You can try with third party plugins like Deep clone for jira.

Hi @CHINNAMUTHEVISAI.SATYANARAYANASHARMA

As @Sreenivasaraju P was already so nice to mention our app Deep Clone for Jira can help you with your use case.

You can avoid cloning specific fields by using our Field Editor when cloning with Deep Clone to clear the unwanted field.
