NEED HELP WITH A DOUBLE BOARD SETUP

So I have a company managed project. For this project we have a board for normal sprint tasks and management, however we also have one for programmer specific tasks. Obviously these can't be run on the same board due to workflow issues. However we have a problem where issues are appearing on both boards regardless. Is there a way to make issues specific to specific boards?

Yes, you can make issues appear only on specific boards.

You have to find a method that works for you to "tag" the issues to identify on which board they should be displayed. Then you modify the Filter for each board to select issues based on that "tagging" method, selecting only the issues that have the correct tag for the board.

Maybe you can segregate them by the Issue Type? Are all the "programmer specific tasks" created as a specific issue type that is not also used for "normal sprint tasks and management"?

Or maybe there is another field that might be used, such as Team, or Labels, or Components, or a custom field of your own creation.

What you will need to keep in mind, though, is that if an issue is not properly "tagged" then it may not show up in the board.
