Hi there. We have encountered  a problem with Jira Software 8.13.4. We found a mysql query take a very long time (about 30 seconds to 1 minute) to execute, and it caused CPU usage extremely high. As a result, Jira almost stopped responding any request and we can only restart jira web app to temporarily make jira accessible.

The sql query log looks like this:

Do you have any idea what's the purpose of this sql and how can we solve this slow query problem?

This looks like you might have an over-complex view set up in Big Picture.

Hi @Lihang Cai ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

First of all please check that your MySql version is supported (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver0813/supported-platforms-1027137429.html). After doing that please check your DBMS health.

Moreover check RAM settings for your JIRA App.

Try to restart your application.

Hope this helps,

Fabio
