MySQL Version

I am running an internal version of Jira on Ubuntu. We are currently running on Ubuntu 18.04-server LTS, with MySQL v5.7 as the DB.

We are unable to upgrade this to the latest version 20.04 LTS since that will upgrade MySQL to 8.0.

How long until Atlassian support the current version of MySQL?

You won't get an estimate more useful than "when it's ready" from Atlassian.
