My story/task disapears when ever i create one

Whenever I log or create a task/story on the backlog it disappears, his is very unusual.

Are you sure your board filter is correctly configured? 

Another possibility is that the starting status for your workflow is not mapped to a column on your board (you can check this in the board configuration under "columns").

Make sure all statuses are correctly mapped there.

IT WORKED!!! 

So here was the issue:

Under Board Settings > Columns menu: the "column constraint" dropdown defaulted to NONE, so I changed it to Issue count.
