My account is unable to fulfill certain permissions.

Hello, currently I am unable to mention anyone while making a comment on my Jira account. Additionally, I am unable to add any watchers to a task. Although I have an admin role, I am unable to perform these actions. How can I resolve this?

Most commonly, if you cannot mention people or browse user lists, that is because you don't have the browse users global permission.

With admin permissions, you should be able to verify it that's the case in Jira Settings > System > Global Permissions.
