At work, in our installed Jira Software product, the Sprint field for some reason does not show all the sprints an issue has been in... it just shows the current sprint value.

Why is this happening, and how do we change it back to default Jira behavior?

Hello @ANTHONY HOYLE

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Can you provide a screen image of what you see?

For an issue that was include in sprints that are already Completed, the sprint field will show a count of those sprints.

If you click on that +2 you will get a pop-up that shows those Completed sprints.

If the issue was removed from the sprint, then the sprint will not be listed.

"If the issue was removed from the sprint, then the sprint will not be listed."

Ah, I think you answered my question! Our sprints are closed and started by an administrator, and not managed by individual Scrum Masters. (strange, I know) If the admin is pulling incomplete items out at the end of each sprint, instead of a more normal close/roll over of incomplete items, I can now see why we would get this odd behavior.

Thank you!

If you suspect the issues are getting removed from the sprint, you can confirm that by looking at the Sprint Report. You can also see it in the History of an individual issue.
