My Advanced Roadmap doesn;t shows the issuesCategory Done but Resolution value is not set. Roadmap Plan should not consider these things, it should show up but may be with warning or some sort of red highliter.

Hi @Ray Patil

This could be caused by a custom workflow. AFAIK when a work item reaches a Done-category status but Resolution is still empty, Plans (i.e. Advanced Roadmaps) can treat that completed work as missing rather than showing it with a warning. Try fixing the workflow first, then repair the existing Done work items.

  1. In Jira search, run statusCategory = Done AND resolution IS EMPTY to find the affected work items.
  2. Ask a Jira admin (or if you're a Jira admin yourself) to go to Jira settings, then Work items, then Workflows.
  3. Edit the workflow used by those work items and select each transition that goes into a Done status.
  4. Add a rule to Update an issue field, choose Resolution, set the value you want, then select Update workflow.
  5. Add the matching reopen rule so Resolution is cleared when work moves out of a Done status.
  6. For the existing work items, bulk transition them through the corrected workflow, or use a controlled self-transition, so Jira sets Resolution and the resolved date cleanly.
  7. In the plan, also check Plan settings, then Work in your plan, then Removed work items, because the default Done removal rule can also hide completed work after the configured number of days.

Here are some useful Atlassian docs for reference:
