Multiple emails to the administrator from login page

On the login screen when someone use contact your JIRA administrator via using the form send an email, email is being sent 4 times.

What is the reason?
I am using JIRA 4.4.4..

Ironically, Chrome got confused and posted my answer twice!

Do multiple users have the same email address, or an email address that forwards to mail aliases for groups of people?

have you look at the logs to see why emails are sent several times? have you try different email address/
