I went to a Jira Issue and changed the Affects Versions and the Fix Versions fields on the issue. Now the Issue is showing two Affects Versions fields and two Fix Versions fields. Each set of fields has the same value in it. I can hit control/F5 to refresh the screen and the duplicates go away. If I navigate back, the duplicate versions come back. I would ignore it but It is making it difficult to edit these fields. Sometimes I can't click in to change them and other random issues.
Anyone else experiencing this with Jira Cloud?
Thanks,
Joe
Hi @Joe Prevo
Sorry to hear about this problem, I created a support case on your behalf over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/23/JST-1088364
Hello @Joe Prevo
What browser app and version are you using?
Are other users of your instance having the same experience?
Have you tried other browser apps or private browser windows?
What type of project are you using? Get that information from the Type column on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.

Yes, we are. The more we touch the issues the worse they seem to get. See the picture below. Now one of the issues has 3 of each type of version and you can't edit or get rid of them. If we try to click on one of them, sometimes we will see a momentary flash of the little X that you could click on but then it disappears. We can't seem to click on them in any way to edit them. And we've tried many different browsers now - all with similar results. So I think the items may be corrupted in the backend (i.e. duplicates in the database) and that it's not a browser-related issue per se. I'm wondering if multiple separate version entries have been created in the database and then the way the frontend works, it's not handling the duplicates when trying to render them to the browser.
If I go into the Google developer tool console, the broken Jira Issues generate a bunch of weird 404, 409, and net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT errors. If I navigate to other issue that aren't currently broken, I don't get any errors in the console. Now we're afraid to poke around much because we don't want to break any other issues that are fine at the moment...
What a mess!

I'm sorry you're still experiencing this issue.
I have flagged your post to raise it to the attention of Atlassian team members, since being on the Free version blocks you from raising a support request yourself. You should hear back from them within 2 business days.
