Move issues from another project from an automation

We have two Jira projects, and the goal is to transition the status of one issue from Project 1 from within an automation that belongs to the scope of Project 2. I can see that the rule "Create Issue" allows to select the project in which I intend to create the new issue. But what about an issue that already exists? Is it possible to transition it's status from an automation in another project?

Hi @Sérgio Baixo

Yes, that is possible.

The rule needs to have multiple-project or global scope to change issues in different projects.  Your Jira Site Admin will need to change the rule scope using global automation, admin access.

Kind regards,
Bill

Hello Bill,

Thanks for your help, I found that setting and was able to create the rule as intended.
