Move Task from Backlog to To Do Automatically by Start Date

Hi! 

I want to create a simple automation that moves an issue from "backlog" to "to do" by the "start date"

This is not a good idea, it sounds like you do not really have a use for a backlog.

The point of a backlog is to let your team plan what they are going to be doing next.  Not just force it on them because of some arbitrary field.

If you think this is a good idea, I suspect what you really need is for new issues to move to the backlog if they're not shut down before their start date, and then the team uses the start date to inform their sprint planning.  Not dictate it - that negates the whole point of sprints.
