Move JIRA to a different server

Hi,

I just bought a JIRA server license and installed it on my localhost for initial evaluation. Now I want to install it on a different (more permanent) server machine, but I don't see clearly how this can be done. I guess a new Server ID will be generated, but I won't be able to obtain a license key for it. I guess there should be a way to deactivate the previous server an activate a new one, right?

it is pretty simple.

• create backup of current server if you need/want
• install a new instance
• apply current SEN to new instance
• restore from backup
