Hi, we have some set of automation running in our organization, suddenly we observer the error "Monthly rule executions have been exceeded". Generally, in our company, all the automation are created by only 2 people with admin privilege, how do we ensure that how this issue is generally occurred, and what can be done to avoid this. Want to know on what basis this occur, based on automation owner? or who is executing the automation etc. what would be the suggestion to avoid this issue and bring seamless automation. This is blocking our job. We have recently changed monthly subscription model, earlier it was yearly. can you advise what can be done with more details.

Hi @EPMO , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.

You should be able to verify which automations have been run here

https://yourjirasite.net/jira/settings/automation#/tab/usage

If you have changed recently the plan, it may be that you have fewer automation executions.

You will need to speak to Atlassian about whether there is the possibility, if you have exceptionally exceeded the limit one time, if you can have it reset - https://support.atlassian.com/contact/

Best wishes

Hi @EPMO -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, and...to the suggestions from Valerie:

Remember to check the usage by product and timeframe as the limits (and how they are counted) differ by Atlassian product (e.g., Jira, Confluence, JSM, JPD) and license model (e.g., by different license levels and / or by user).  I also recall cases where exceeding other service limits can appear as if they are usage problems.

Kind regards,
Bill
