Monthly Report

Martin Steimle November 25, 2020

Hi all,

Can you help me, please? Is a reporting like following possible?

The numbers are tasks (or sub-tasks) which the employee has closed in the corresponding month.

                                      JAN        FEB      MAR

Employee A                     3             2           5

Employee B                      1             3           1

Is that possible with JIRA?

Best regards and thank you for your help

Martin

Hello Martin,

If you only have a limited number of employees you can try using a "Created VS Resolved" gadget in a Jira dashboard that you can parameter to display the number of issues resolved by a specific user grouped by month.

Thank you, very smart and easy way.

I would suggest you look at the 2-Dimensional chart. I offered a similar solution just this week on another post. It goes something like this...

  1. create a custom field called say MOY (month of year) w/ values of Jan, Feb, Mar...
  2. using automation when issues are resolved update the field with the current month
  3. use the 2D gadget to have y-axis of month and x-axis of user

or consider and addon app

or consider leveraging Excel
