Modifying jira.table.cols.subtasks doesn't change anything?

I was trying to modify the sub task table that is visible whenever you click on a task to show the timeestimate. However, it doesn't seem to change anything at all. I've tried removing several entries just to see if it makes a change at all and nothing seems to do anything.

Is there something else or somewhere else that I need to modify in order to make these changes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Dylan,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

I understand that you would like to change the columns displaying the sub-task values in the related parent issue, however, changing the jira.table.cols.subtasks parameter in the general configuration of JIRA does not seems to have any results. Have I understood it properly?

I would like to let you know that this kind of customization is not working in the New issue view of JIRA, due to the bug reported below:

Updating jira.table.cols.subtasks in Advanced Settings has no effect in the new experience

Feel free to vote and watch the bug to receive any updates about its fix implementation.

For now, if you are using JIRA Cloud application, you can try to use the Old issue view.

P.S: Since we are currently working to get this functionality fixed in the New issue view, maybe you will not be able to make it work in the Old issue view either (see this report). In that case, we can only ask you to wait until we completely fix the problem.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Kane
