Missing Work log author email

Hi guys, 

In the last few days we noticed that the Jira API no longer returns the work log author email when retrieving the work logs and their authors. 

Using the Jira API v2

Endpoint: /rest/api/2/search/

Could you give us more information? Is this already deprecated? How can we retrieve the email again?

Hi @Dona Vasileva ,

The behavior you are reporting is related to the introduction of the new Profile and Visibility settings:

• Update your profile and visibility settings

This change was needed in order to comply with GDPR and, as a result, you can or cannot see  user emails depending on how they configured  their profile visibility settings.
