Hello

The "Migration hub" documents only a migration to JIRA 7 "in-place", using the JIRA software installer.

But I want to use another server to migrate, from v6.4 to v7 (fallback method).

Can I use the backup/restore method as explained on "Migrating JIRA applications to another server" document ?

You can, but the recommended route that you should plan for is to treat the move and upgrade as two separate processes - perform one, get it right, then do the other.
