Hi Sir,
We have subscribed JIRA Cloud for 2 years.
For first day, we have enable SAML SSO to OKTA in our domain "xxxxx.com".
And today, we would integrate with Azure AD instead of OKTA.
But, when I access the admin portal again, I cannot found the previous SAML setting. Unless i enable the trial Atlassian Access.
After 30 days, what will happen on our JIRA Cloud subscription? Will we fail to login?
May I know whether I have to subscribe JIRA Cloud with Atlassian Access if I want to keep use of SAML?
Paco
Hi Paco,
It looks like you were previously subscribed to Atlassian Access (prior to this month/a month ago). Based on this, it seems that you were getting SAML with your Okta through Atlassian Access. Early on, this was called "Identity Manager" which might be leading you to some confusion now. Even earlier than that, we did offer SAML support at no charge before Identity Manager / Access were built out to provide extra features like 2 Factor Authentication.
If your Atlassian Access subscription lapses, SAML SSO will stop functioning and your users will see changes in how they log in:
As for switching from Okta to ADFS, you can manage the SAML details for your domain at admin.atlassian.com.
If you have any more questions about Access, I'm happy to help!
Cheers,
Daniel
Dear Daniel,
Thanks for your reply.
So, if I want to use JIRA with SAML, may I confirm whether I have to order JIRA subscription and Atlassian Access subscription in the same time?
Thanks again.
Paco

Hey Paco,
That's correct - SAML in Jira Cloud requires an Atlassian Access subscription in addition to your existing Jira Cloud subscription.
Cheers,
Daniel
