Microsoft Teams for Jira Add-On Capabilities

Hello, this is a question about the Microsoft Teams for Jira add-on.

We are testing out this add-on, and while we like the visibility it provides, we are wondering about some capability of the app. For example,

  • Through a Teams tab, you can create an issue with a project and issue types create screen. This is good, you can specify most of the fields unique to that issue type. However, when EDITING an issue, you are limited to basic fields like description, assignee, comments, status - and cannot see the unique fields.
  • When adding a new Teams tab, and adding a saved filter to that tab, the Teams tab does not pick up the filter columns you may have specified in Jira. You can only see basic columns like task type, key, assignee, reporter. 
  • This one is more of a reach, but being able to pull-in Boards and not just filters would be a game changer.

Has anyone found any workarounds to extend this functionality? From the Jira admin side, configuration looks pretty limited, unfortunately.
