I have set up the Microsoft team integration, and it works GREAT for status updates, EXCEPT the fact that every time it does, I get a duplicate notification telling me the rank has changed.
In fact, even if the status doesn't change, and I just move a card up and down on the board, I get an annoying notification.
How can I use JQL to filter out rank changes?
Hi,
Seems like the integration you are using does not support this.
Have you tried the Advanced Microsoft Teams Jira Connector with the JQL and other filters?

Leo
Hey @JK
Changing the rank value of an issue normally does not trigger anything that is then communicated to the users. I would reach out to the developer of your integration and flag this behavior. Maybe they are not aware, but in my humble opinion, it is a pointless implementation that should at least be able to be switched off in the integration. Jira itself does not trigger notifications about the rank field, as its only purpose is to know the relative rank in relation to another issue. You cannot even search for it using JQL, as it can only be used to order the results of a query.
Best, Max

Hello
Thank you for the reply,
As far as I can see, this is "native" Jira functionality, its there in the App settings along with Slack Integration? I haven't installed any Microsoft Teams Integration App and doesnt appear in my list to "uninstall"
So ... Jira is the developer? And is the one triggering the notifications about the rank field itself. So how can I get them to switch it off?
When I tried to go through the contact Jira to report this, it sent me here to this forum, hence me posting this request?
