Hi everyone,
I am looking for some support / feedback if anyone else has experienced this issue and what they did to rectify it:
We have a number of JIRA users who, for one reason or another have had different assignee credentials (Slightly different email addresses from when they may have been contracting etc whilst using JIRA).
When I am running reports such as 'Status Duration Per Assignee' from the app 'Time in Status' I am being presented with multiple columns per user to cater for their various historic credentials (Even though this is the same person).
My question is, does anyone know how to merge different users into one (Bringing accross any tickets they have worked on and the time spent on each ticket to ensure reporting is not across multiple assignee's? This is a time consuming process to do manually due to the number of staff we have.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Luke
Hi @luke.western 👋
I'm representing another app Time in Status for Jira cloud, but hope my answer will help you.
In our app for this aim we have User Groups
For this you need to
As a result, you'll get one column with summed data from your previously selected columns.
Probably you have kind of similar feature in your Time in Status.
Hope it helps!
Hi @Valeriia_Havrylenko_SaaSJet ,
Thank you very much for your reply. That would be helpful, the app I am using does not appear to offer grouping in the way you describe (Per assignee) which is a shame. As we have a corporate license I will need to discuss the potential use of alternative apps to produce the level of reporting I need such as the app you mention.
Can you confirm that the time in status app you are referring to can achieve the below:
- Tickets worked on by asignee (Grouped to cater for duplicate assignee's)
- Time the ticket spent against status's (split out E.G. In dev, in QA etc)
- Issue types
- Current ticket status
Thanks
Luke
