Hello all
As i create tickets on Jira that are assigned to certain accounts, some of them are billable and some are not. I need to mark them as such to make it easier at the end of each month to see which ones i need to charge for without having to go through each ticket. Is there anything you can suggest because i have been through all the potential options in the issues screen and cannot see a good one to use. One that is a simple flag or tick box
Many thanks!
Kevvo
Here are my thoughts:
1. Set up components for billable clients vs. non-billable clients.
2. Different issue types (billable vs. non-billable)
This makes the onus to choose billable vs. non-billable on issue creation so it's set and you don't have to worry about it later.
Hi @Kevin Lane ,
my suggestion is to use Tempo Timesheet for JIRA https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6572/tempo-timesheets-time-tracking-reports?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
It contains Account management and rate management. Morevover, it offers you many useful reports that could be used for your purposes.
All of us love Tempo plugin!
Hope this helps,
Fabio

I do agree that @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ is the best and ultimate solution. Not only would you get separate accounts, but with time tracking turned on, you'd see how much time is spent on billable vs. non-billable.
