Manual trigger - Prompt for input - Choose a user?

Love the new ability to display a form to collect information when running an automation. One item that seems to be missing, is the ability to have user enter a user name. We have an automation step which creates a linked issue, and we would like to give the user the ability to choose a user. Extra points if it can be limited to a specific user group.

Can probably do this with plugins, but trying to avoid that.

Can you be a bit more precise on the kind of "form" you are using? Are you referring to forms in JSM, or to forms in JWM projects?

The poster is talking about this form you can create in Manual Trigger automations. I just learned of this option from another post in the Jira Software/Questions community, and found it was announced in the last weekly blog post:
