Mandatory fields for release

Hi,

Is there a way to add a field to a release and force updating it before releasing a version?
Use case: I would like to force everyone to add a build link to the release before it is released. Preferably if this could be shown in the Automation for Jira with Slack.

Hello @Barak Haver 

You can have a transition screen and make the field mandatory. The transition should be the one taking you to the status where you generally release the issue.

Thanks Tarun but it's not exactly the case.
When I have a release ready and all the tickets are done, I build a version and once I release the built version I also "release" the Jira release, though I'd like to force other people to add the link for the built version to the release (so eventually a release will be connected to the link to the build)
