we are interested in "Best practices" regarding Jira Cloud.
Specifically on how to manage multiple projects in one board.
If you run multiple projects as one team, what would be the best way to manage all of them in one board, to provide a management overview?

welcome to the Atlassian community!
I think you are talking about a Kanban Board for multiple projects. Take a look to this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5x79RZZFe8) that can help you on that.
My suggestion is ti setup swimlanes based on projects and quick filter to make your board simple to read/use.
