I have been using Jira as a issue tracker and documentation tool. I have recently installed and are now using BigPicture in combination with Jira. For the most part, I have loved the combination and have been having success. My current problem is as following:
I want to manage non-human resources. For example, I have a limited number of forklifts on a job site and need to plan and manage how those assests are allocated.
For both Jira and BigPicture, the resource management (with work schedules and work plans) seems limited to the assignee. And, as far as I can tell, assignees are limited to a person (technically a username and password).
I am curious how I can work with this. Thanks.
