I have been looking at various ‘initiative’ ways at how I could utilise the Jira ticketing software to inform and quantify my commercials through data analysis and use as a business intelligence tool. The programme is predominately made up of 92% of outsourced resources. I am looking to introduce KPI’s across the teams, business functions and products to monitor and manage. This is not Service now as products not live.
I feel the software has the capability but it’s a lack of software knowledge (core structure) on my part but I feel the ‘achievability’ is there! I am pretty clued up technically - I see how tickets (MI) is moved and tracked. I am now soul searching for guidance – a steer on the how to use! Through Epics, story points, releases etc..I have played around a few scenarios.
Any suggestions please?
