I have a shared team I manage. I want to track their workload across multiple projects they are part of. How can I create a dashboard that shows me how much work is assigned to each individual on the team? I need to know what they are working on and how much effort is assigned to each task.
For example:
The Spaceship team has four members. All four members are part of two or more projects. How can I make sure each member is not over-allocated between the projects they are working on without creating a search on every single team member?

If you want, you can create a dashboard with gadgets that will filter results, based in a JQL that you can create.
For example, you can create a filter to return issues their issues, based on projects and display them in this gadget on a dashboard.
