It appears some of the collapsible changes have rolled out to our account and it did nothing more than introduce more clicks.
Is it possible to auto-expand the Development section from the connection to GitHub?
It previously was not collapsed and made it easy to see a ticket and know what was attached to it, etc, now im having to uncollapse every ticket to see the things that were previously easily viewable.
Hi @Jeremiah Fulbright welcome to the Atlassian Community Forums!
Could you please share a screenshot of what is currently collapsed and what you expect to be (auto-)expanded? (Please make a screenshot of the entire work item view).
Some users who can see data in the Development panel may not have permission to see all the information in the development dialog. This is because Jira checks for appropriate permissions in the linked apps.
The development dialog may display duplicates, although the number of unique items are reported at the top of the dialog and in the development panel summary.
Only the first 100 commits linked to a work item will be shown on the development panel.
If commits linked to the work item are involved with a Bamboo build that fails, the first successful build that follows will be reported, even though the original commits are no longer involved with that build.
See the following documentation article for more info: View development information for a work item

Hey @Dave Mathijs
I think I've got it how I need for now, as it appears it saves the "state" of the collapsed development section per Project, so I can at least open it on one ticket before I open others and it will be open on the newly viewed tickets.
But for reference -
It would be nice if there was some sort of indicator in collapsed state but at least since i figured out itll stay open by project, it eliminates most of the frustration.
