Where are they lost? Where are you looking? If it is a board, then the filter for the board might not include the issues. If you click on the Search box in the upper right of the top nav bar, you should be able to search for the issue there.
Or start a query and simply use project = ABC ORDER BY created DESC which will show you all of the issues on that project in order from the most recently created.
