Login on two different machines with different OS but same account

Hi,

I have several machines and sometimes I would like to log into Jira with my user from a Linux machine and Firefox browser and from a Windows machine with Chrome browser.

Are there any restrictions for this in Jira or any problems I might run into? Anything I need to consider?

Regards
Stefan

There are no restrictions on doing this, Jira doesn't care if you log in several times from different sources.

I can't speak for any apps that might object, but I can't think of a reason that they might be checking sessions and doing something differently to Jira.

You may find some temporary discrepancies if you are using Data Centre though - if you are logged into separate nodes, and something changes on one node, it may be different on a second node until they have synchronised together.
