Ahead of Atlassian cutting updates for Jira, I've migrated our instance which we last updated when 8.0 came out, to a new server. Once established, I'll upgrade the server to the final long term support release.
I've completed server setup, installed Jira 8.0.0, imported the backup xml from the current instance and copied the attachments, plugins, logos, and avatars folder to the new server.
The application boots fine and displays the login page, but when logging in it hangs for close to 10 minutes before proceeding to the default homepage (Dashboard). Once to that page, accessing issues, etc do not hang, however some logos, issue type avatars, and user avatars do not appear, but some do that were custom. All default Jira avatars appear. I've performed a full reindex with no change. Where should I be looking to see what is causing this?
This is all I see in the atlassian-jira.log after the page finally loads.
