Hello,

I have one JIRA workflow that is used by more than one issue type. I need to specify the first step to be linked with the newly created issue i.e. Issue Type 'A' should start the workflow from the begining and Issue Type 'B' should start from the third step in the workflow.

Thanks,

Can't be done. The workflows all have a single entry point.

Your options are:

1) To find something that will automatically transition B through to the third step (Before you get started on this though, bear in mind that this simply cannot be done as a post-function, only a listener or a very sneaky trick which is used by one clever plugin)

2) Have a different workflow for issue type B

I'd *strongly* recommend option 2.
