Limiting Project View Permission

Dear all, 

I created a new permission scheme and assigned to a project and an external user (to a customer supposed to view only his project). However, I couldnt make it work. It either allows to view all projects or nothing can be viewed. 

Could you please advise how I can make it work?

I suspect your new permissions are allowing shared groups into the project.  "View all projects" usually happens when your other permission schemes use the groups you're adding to the new project.

Thank you Nic. Your comment helped us a lot. We created an internal group and a customer group and changed application access from "any logged in user" to only internal users. It works now.
