Hi Atlassian

Our parent company City & Guilds Kineo, is using JIRA Core as a support portal for customers. They have a 2000 seat license.

We are using JIRA Software for development and have a 25 seat licences.

We would like to merge the two products into a single JIRA instance maintaining JIRA core for customer support and upgrade JIRA Software to 250 seats (to accommodate a larger development team).

However, we use a number of plugins (Tempo, Script runner, Tempo Books, Big Picture) in JIRA Software that are not needed for JIRA Core. We only want to use these in JIRA Software.

We are trying to work out how we can license the plugins at the 250 tier (for JIRA Software alone). Are you able to assist us with this? It's proving to be a huge blocker for us being able to work more collaboratively.

Cheers

You can't.

If you licence for 250 Software, and 2,000 Core, then you will need to licence the add-ons at 2,000 - it requires you to licence at the highest tier that can use the add-ons.

Your only options are to pay for the higher tiers, or keep the instances separate.
