Dear Support,

I'll write my issue step by step what happened:

  1. Try JIRA server with trial licence
  2. Try Git integration for JIRA server with trial licence
  3. Purchase JIRA server licence for 1 year
  4. Now I try to purchase Git integration for JIRA, but I can not.

It seems that my purchased licence is not shown among my products, only the trial licence, and I can not attach the Git integration licence to it, so it wouldn't let me purchase.

Please help!

Kind regards,

Johann

I wouldn't worry about your trial in my.atlassian.com - it'll be shown separately to the commercial one you've bought and applied to your Jira Software server.

Can you explain "I can not" when you "try to purchase git integration"?  What happens when you click "buy" beneath the trial licence key in my.atlassian.com?

Hi,

I got further by manually entering the full (non-trial) licence's SEN number and my email. I now bought the Git Integration licence, but I have no place to paste it on my admin console to re-enable the Git plugin (it expired in the meantime).

Could you please help me where I should put the licence string to re-enable the integration?

Thank you!

Apps (plugins) are licenced in the "manage apps" section - should be as simple as "Admin -> Manage Apps" to get to the list (although you may find it jumps to "find new apps" sometimes, so check the list on the left is highlighting manage rather than find)

The Git plugin should be listed there, although you might want to mess with the filter.  If in doubt, select "all" from the drop down and then use the browser's "find text on page", usually ctrl-f, to search for "git".  When you've found the app, expand the entry and you should see a box to paste the licence key into.
