Hi,
I have a question about behavior with project leader and component leader in workflow transition post-function and notification scheme.
From the documentation of workflow post function:
Assign to Lead Developer - Assigns the issue to the component lead (if one exists) or project lead.
That is good, but what happend, whne I have:
project1 with projectLeader1
component1 with componentLeader1
component2 with componentLeader2
and the user create issue in project1 and select multiple components (both 1 and 2).
In a workflow, I have assign to lead developer. Who is it / Who are they?
In an email notification, I have Component Lead, Who is it / Who are they?
When there are multiple components and the default assignees of components clash, the assignee will be set to the default assignee of the component that is first alphabetically. See http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Defining+a+Component
In the scenario you described, for the workflow the issues will be assigned to componentLeader1. I am not sure about email notification. You might have to test it out. It could be both componentLeader1 and componentLeader2.
Hi Vladimir, I just saw your comment. Please see my edited answer above.

Danielle, thak you for your response.
I now about this, but this is only when you set a Default Assignee for a component. I don't have a default assignee, i use Assign to lead developer post-function. The behavior there is the same here? And in notification event is the same too?
