Language set to English but still displays Swedish

Just tried to help my colleague change his Jira user to display in English. when doing [Profile picture ball] -> Personal settings and looking at the language settings, he has "English (United States)" selected.

The windows computer is set to use English as well. Are we missing something - translated languages in Jira does not work well for us.

We solved it - he changed it to Spanish, then back to English (United States), and then the language was set to English.

Is this problem occurring on all clients or a small number of clients?

Have your ever check the browser configuration? sometimes the browser's own translation function will default to language translation.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

The browser (Chrome) is in English as well and no automatic translation is activated as far as we can see. Other browsers (Edge) give the same result - Swedish instead of English.

Me and some team mates have the same problem... All in Swdish...
