Labels in Issue Type set up not available when creating a ticket

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I added numerous Labels to the Bug and Task issue types when I set them up. But when I Create a new ticket, either Bug or Task, the predefined Labels are not present, so I have to type them in manually per ticket, as if I didn't do anything in the Issue Type set up config. Why?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

That is the correct behaviour - humans tend to just accept defaults, and labels are not something you usually want defaulted.  They are useless if you apply them to (almost) all your issues.
