Keyboard only user (unable to use a mouse) need to be able to edit links in a custom free text field containing a URL. When navigating into those fields, I have not been able to successfully find a keyboard only key combination that allows editing. If I use a mouse, I am able edit these fields by either fully deleting the link or pasting a new link.
Things I've tried so far:
As one of the Jira Admins for my company, I am looking for information for my co-workers who cannot use a mouse for various reasons.
Hi @Liz Stephenson ,
Welcome to the community!
Can you send a screenshot of the field type (Issues -> Custom fields -> Type the field name)?
I've added one screenshot showing the location. I am able to edit the link by using a mouse to click on the grey box. However, not all Jira users at my company can use a mouse. This creates an accessibility issue for keyboard-only and screen reader users.

Hi @Liz Stephenson ,
When the issue is opened you may use the "Tab" button till you reach the needed field. Then press Enter to edit it.
If the field is on the right panel, then press right arrow when the ticket is opened before start using the "Tab" button.
If you still have any troubles or would like to share your feedback on Jira Cloud accessibility, then this might be useful for you: https://www.atlassian.com/accessibility
Hope it helps!

To edit a URL custom field using only a keyboard, use the Tab key to navigate to the field, use arrow keys to move within the text, and type to make changes. Press Enter or click outside the field to save the edits.
