Up until recently I used to be able to go straight to my bookmarked JIRA page ... now every single day I have to log back into JIRA. Does anyone know how to prevent this so it keeps me logged in?

JIRA has a default session timeout (https://support.atlassian.com/security-and-access-policies/docs/update-idle-session-duration/) at server side so your session after a while will end. As a user you can't perform any action (you just can setup a rember my login at client side - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/remember-my-login-is-not-working-707723331.html#:~:text=JIRA%20saves%20the%20cookies%20when,due%20to%20the%20saved%20cookie.).
You could ask to a JIRA Admin to setup a new session limit.
