Hi support,
I created a new issue in Jira cloud, using Kanban type of project. My problem is that item was out into Selected for Development bucket instead of Backlog.
Is there some option to change this behavior?
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Roman Senko ,
You can ask your project admin or jira admin to help you change this behaviour by making changes to the workflow and the board column configurations..
The problem is that "Selected for development" is some default status, it is not in my workflow at all:

Hi @Roman Senko
If the status is not in the workflow, then the issue cannot have it.. Can you open a specific ticket on this 'Selected for development' and see what status it is in?
Also, could you share the board column configuration screenshot?

Hi @Fazila Ashraf, thank you very much. I found the root issue with your help and suggestions. It happened that workflow start point was [Create issue] -> [Open], I changed it to [Create issue] -> [Backlog] -> Open. And for [Open] status column header was "Selected for development".
The issue is solved. Thanks!
