I just created a new Kanban (Classic) project in JIRA Cloud.
I got to the "Kanban Board" page and select "Create an Issue". The issue is that in the "Project" field on the "Create Issue" window, it only allows me to create issues against other projects, it doesn't allow me to create issues the Kanban project I just created.
Example:
Old Project: Project 1
New Kanban Project: Project 2
When I go to create an issue in Project 2, it only allows me to create it against Project 1.
Is there a setting wrong somewhere?
did you use shared config for creating the project?
Is the permission for issue creation set to your role?
Hi @nina_schmidt thanks for your reply!
The project was created from scratch, no use of a shared config.
I'm the admin of the space, so I would assume that I have the permissions to create issues.

Thanks @adam.cormack
I would recite my fellow leader colleague Nick here —> Link
please check the project permissions, they are not 1:1 set for admins.
