Hello! Jira newbie here. I'm trying to add users to a newly created Kaban project, and I'd like to assign them to either administrator, viewer, or member roles. I don't remember having to define these roles when I used a Scrum template, but when I try to add users in the Kanban project, the only option in the dropdown is "administrator".
It sounds like you are on a Next-gen project which is indeed different in how you add people. From the board you click the "+" next to the avatars and in the popup you add user and select role.
Thanks for the reply, Jack! When I try to add someone via that method, the only role option is administrator. Any idea why viewer or member aren't options?
