Job tracker status embeddable widget

Hi

My team uses Jira to log and track jobs. Our clients often ask for the status of a job, or who it is assigned to. It would solve a lot of problems if there's a way to connect Jira to an external site that will display information such as- who the job is assigned to, start date, end date. Is this possible, how can I do this?
