Hi @Mayur Jadhav

I hope you can help me.  I have created a new question as suggested as I was replying to a related issue that you commented on.  I am trying to integrate Jira and MS Teams and I am getting stuck in the Connectors screen.

1. I go to the Teams Channel, the more options and then Connectors.

2. I go to the Jira Cloud option and then I click Add.

The result is, nothing happens.  I am expecting to see a configure button that you have mentioned in a previous question.  But I do not see a configure button.  There is a Configured menu item and when I click on that (this is after I have clicked Add as above), I just get the spinney wait symbol and nothing happens.

I would be very grateful if you could help as to what I am doing wrong.

Hi @Miriam Cox

Jira to MS Teams using Webhooks:

Instruction:

1. Navigate to Microsoft Teams, Choose the teams section, choose More

options (...) next to the channel name, then choose Connectors.

2. Scroll through the list of Connectors to Jira Server, and choose Add

3. Choose configure button a popup setting will appear with Webhook URL and Instructions.

4. Now copy the URL of Webhook and Save it, go ahead, and save the settings.

5. Navigate to Jira Administration settings and click System option search for Webhook.

6. In Webhooks there will be a Create Webhook button, we can use it to create new Webhook.

7. In the new Webhook we need to paste the URL obtain from Jira Cloud(Connectors).

8. Also select the required project and issue type through JQL expression, also as per the requirements we can select the actions such as Issue Created, Issue Deleted, Comment, etc.

9. Now create test issue for respected project which we have added to the JQL

expression in the Webhook and verify whether issue will be shown in the Teams Chat.

I have tried to integrate Jira Cloud to MSteams but unfortunately Microsoft Teams have some technical bug/glitch that's why we are not able to add Jira Cloud Connector.

Regards,

Mayur
