Jira plugin for Outlook on premise

we would like to install the Jira plugin for Outlook, the app from the store seems to direct us to an 365 app, but we use Exchange on premise.

how can we install the Jira plugin?

I don't know if you are trying to use the official Jira Cloud for Outlook app (Jira Cloud for Outlook (Official) | Atlassian Marketplace).

If this is the case I'm not a 100% sure if you can use the integration for exchange on prem. Maybe you can try to see if you can grasp the app through another way then the store.

We are a 3rd party app vendor on the Atlassian Marketplace and develop integrations between Microsoft and Jira/Confluence. One of our integration was historically designed to be used for either exchange on-premise or Microsoft 365 (exchange online): Outlook Email for Jira (Integration, Templates, Automation) | Atlassian Marketplace. Even though we do strongly focus on exchange online development you might be able to use our Outlook integration using an Office or COM add-in via different deployment methods.
