Jira plugin for IntelliJ cannot connect Jira server 8.20.10

Hello,

First time trying this

Not using Jira cloud

I want to try the Jira plugin in IntelliJ.

I installed the plugin.  I keep getting the message 

API Token method

"Login failed. Check your credentials."

User and Pass method
"Login failed. Enter captcha in web-interface."

Our Jira is running in house, version 

Jira v8.20.10

HI @Slobodan Lohja ,

Doesn't seem to matter about whether Jira is on-prem or cloud. It looks like whatever procedures used to pass the login seems incorrect.
